Well the pit was full and we have 28 acres readily available to spread on so we had to drive the challenger several miles to the hog barn and un hook the super coulter then hitch to the tank which we had to take off the clevis hitch on the challenger ::). Then we hooked the Houle pump to the 5288. We used to put the 4440 on it but we try to keep hours off the good tractors hahaha
We started corn seedbed prep 2 weeks ago. We finished Friday. Some was done with the TIgerMate field cultivator and the rest was done with the Summers Super Coulter. Both did a GREAT job but the Super Coulter didn't eat up the vegetation as good as we hoped.

Not a good feeling! It was no biggy as MFA AgriService lent us their Patriot 3185 for the day intill heartland could get it back up.
Taylor Farms was started in the winter of 1900-1901 when the Taylors came across the Mississippi River and settled 10 miles south of Palmyra, MO. Since then we have came along way. It is now owned by LeRoy and Dan Taylor. We will try to keep this updated through all the seasons so you can see what we have been doing. We will have some YouTube videos on here also from time to time. Please bookmark us and check back often!
